Stone the crows

There might be some waves... Wahoo.
it wont be big and bouncy but enough to keep the crowds happy.
Just over a meter of swell with a light south easterly.

There hasn't been an awful lot to get excited about...

It's been months and months since a really nice chart reared it head, hence the blog's been sitting dormant waiting for something to happen. The upper trough that's been ruining everything surf and weatherwise is still there.

The yellows and reds show the position of the jetstream. It should be somewhere north of Scotland, but it isn't and its bringing rain and shit weather - Until it moves, there's unlikely to be any really good surf.

It's not moving away completely, BUT, it will slacken and arch its back on Wednesday or Thursday and the wind will turn offshore for 24 hours. So, there should be 2-3 foot of summery waves that are worthwhile. Grab it while you can, as the longer range is as grim as now.

Bonj

Hmm, it rained all day yesterday where I was. Loads of it. When i went to bed the night before it was raining, i got up and it rained, then rained all day and was even raining when i went to bed.
It's now spotting, and there is no real surf to speak of.
Some good potential at the weekend as another system moves in to bring more of the same.
