I spend too much time checking weather charts - if I know the surf's going to get good, I'm clicking the refresh button on the web a couple of minutes before the next forecast model gets posted onto the Web. If its looking good then I'll check back again just to make sure. I'm going to blog weather on here and try to explain what's going on. Looks like its locked and loaded.
It'll be too big for mere mortals I suspect, if you cast your minds back a couple of weeks, the big swell of the 20th peaked at 14seconds and 1.8m or so - this one looks like about 13 seconds and 2.5m+ swell so it'll be interesting to see what transpires.
Winds look perfect, so i suspect there'll be some nice pics of the Cribbar, while the main beachies will probably be maxing out.
So, PT was firing, solid 6' but well doable. Hardly the armageddon predicted. Tons of other breaks in area be going off as well.
